My Process

Photographing Interiors and Architecture

Method and Technique

I combine traditional field techniques with modern digital capture and post processing to create photographs that not only document the space, but also convey the felling and intent that the designer/architect planned in the first place. Each shot is styled and lit in a manner to compliment the space, working with your design to show the texture, volume, richness and thoughtfulness that were put into it.

I always shoot wirelessly tethered to an iPad so that you can view the photos as they are being created in real time, which gives me the flexibility to work with you to create the exact images you envisioned. We'll arrange and add or subtract objects in the space so that they photograph as best as they can in relation to the camera, and add or remove light as necessary to ensure that the moods and feelings of the space translate into a two dimensional photograph.

Quality

I strive to create images that stand the test of time. I will never compromise the photographs that I create in order to keep them visually engaging and technically correct. I want to create images that you can use for years to come, both for marketing and for impressing new clients. My clients' continued success counts on it.

Post Production

After the photographs are captured they are then processed and uploaded to a private client proofing gallery within one week of the shoot. You'll then be able to give any feedback or let me know of any retouching requests before final photographs are delivered. If there are any blemishes that you'd like me to remove ahead of time, be sure to let me know during the shoot and it won't be a problem.

Delivery

I provide high-resolution finished photographs as digital files via a download link. I keep the download link active for 12 months - in case you need to re-download them after the initial delivery. If you are interested in creating a table book, I would be happy to assist you with that as well.
