Portraits of Spaces and Things
What does that mean? Much like a portrait captures the essence of a person, my work seeks to capture the character, story, and emotional resonance of spaces and objects. This approach goes beyond simply documenting; it’s about creating images that feel alive, purposeful, and personal.
For interiors and architecture, it means portraying the atmosphere of a space—the way light interacts with surfaces, how design elements harmonize, and the emotion or functionality the environment conveys. For products, it’s about highlighting their craftsmanship, utility, or luxury in a way that tells their story and connects with their intended audience.
How does this work?
01.
Schedule a shoot
Whenever you’re ready, just fill out my contact form with the details of your project. I’ll get back to you as soon as possible to go over a schedule.
02.
Before the shoot
I’ll follow up with you before our scheduled shoot day to make sure everything is good to go. A site walk is always beneficial before our shoot date to discuss compositions and lighting conditions.
03.
The day of
During the shoot we’ll work together throughout the day to capture your project in the best light and detail we can. Reviewing images as we take them ensures that there are no surprises once final images are delivered.
04
Gallery delivery
When your images are ready you’ll receive a link to your online gallery where you can view, share and download all of your images.
05
Final revisions
Once the final images are delivered, if there is something that needs to be tweaked here or there I can take care of that for you!
Are you available outside of Southern California?
Absolutely!
How long after the shoot will the images be ready?
I typically have images ready within 3 days after the shoot. Sometimes longer depending on the scope of the project.
Do I get to pick which shots you take?
I always welcome feedback during our shoots. With the exception of real estate shoots, I always have an iPad with me so you can see exactly what we’re capturing in real time. That way we can make adjustments quickly or scratch a shot that you’re not feeling.
Do you style each shot?
While I myself am not a stylist, I will do my best to work with what we have in a given scene and adjust furniture to create the best photo possible.
You photographed a project I worked on. Can I get the pictures also?
Absolutely! While I don’t give away my work for free, you can license the photos from me.
What if I want something edited on the photos you delivered?
Not a problem. I offer a free round of adjustments on the final photos.
